New EMC & Integration Hubs on TPS US Website
To make it easier for engineers to find the right information, the TPS US website now groups our services and technical articles into two main hubs: an EMC & safety testing hub and an integration solutions hub for integrated power systems.
Whether you are preparing a power supply or cabinet for EMC certification, or planning a new test rack or OEM power cabinet, these hubs give you a single entry point into TPS lab services, design guides and case studies.
In this update:
- What you can find in the EMC & safety testing hub.
- How the integration solutions hub is organized by system type.
1. EMC & safety testing hub – one place for lab services and guides
The EMC & Safety Testing page is now the central hub for customers who need EMC pre-compliance or safety testing for power electronics, control cabinets and battery chargers. Here you can:
- See which EMC standards and test setups our lab supports.
- Understand the typical pre-compliance workflow, from sample preparation to test report.
- Request EMC lab time or discuss a test plan with TPS.
From this hub, you can dive deeper into specific topics:
- EMC Battery Charger & Safety Testing for DC Power Systems – a detailed look at typical EMC and safety requirements for battery chargers and DC power systems, and how pre-compliance testing can de-risk final certification.
- EMC Testing Case: Control & Communication Boards in Industrial Cabinets – a case study that shows how real control boards behaved in the chamber and what kind of fixes improved emissions and immunity.
For engineers who want to read more background on EMC testing and pre-compliance practices, we also recommend independent resources such as the UL 508A future effective dates overview from UL Solutions and educational notes on EMI/EMC pre-compliance testing from major test equipment vendors.
2. Integration solutions hub – four types of integrated power systems
The Integration Solutions page acts as a hub for projects where TPS not only supplies power hardware, but also designs and builds the complete integrated power system. The page is organized into four system types:
- Industrial control cabinets for automation – DIN-rail power supplies, 24 V control power, DC distribution and protection inside ready-to-install cabinets.
- Battery test system integration – programmable and bidirectional DC power for cell, module and pack testing, including safety and BMS interfaces.
- Custom test benches for R&D and production – test racks that combine power supplies, loads and measurement equipment under PLC or PC-based control.
- OEM cabinets with integrated power modules – OEM-ready power sections that turn bare integrated power modules into standardized power cabinets.
Several technical articles and case studies are now linked from this hub, for example:
- Battery Test System Power & Safety Architecture – From Single Channel to Multi-Channel Racks – an application guide on how to plan channels, DC buses, loads and safety circuits for battery test systems.
- Regenerative Power Supply for Lithium Battery Formation & Grading – explaining how regenerative power supplies can reduce energy and cooling costs in long battery formation processes.
- Battery Cell Aging Automation Case Study – a concrete automation project showing how integrated power, safety and control help to run long-term cell aging tests reliably.
Over time, this hub will also collect more content on industrial control cabinets, OEM power cabinets and custom R&D test benches, so that engineers can move from a high-level overview to detailed design guides and project stories in a few clicks.
